Writing is cathartic and is one way people process how they see the world. For author Kineta Blackman, her writing was described, in her own words, as ‘psychological first-aid’. Her debut poetry anthology “Cotton Wool” was written about things observed, experienced or imagined during her college/university days and is aimed at teens and young adults. It seeks to be a balm to the broken, offering inspirational poetry to lift the spirits of those who read.
