Hi, my name is Robert Gibson, and I am the Founder of PWES. I started writing poetry at the ripe old age of 14 years old and fell in love with it. I continued writing until I was introduced to spoken word poetry in 2011. By 2013 I had been performing on stages in my home country of Barbados and the poetry group I was a part of had even performed in national competitions.

People were falling in love with my poetry and consistently asking me, "Where's your book?"

So, being heavily into computer technology I sat with my archive of poems and created my first manuscript - my anthology entitled "Erotic". Published my first book in late 2013.

I became hooked, and between 2013 and 2021 I have self-published seven books: five poetry anthologies, one novel and one journal.
